Paxton's 8vo prints from
his "Magazine of Botany and Register of Flowering Plants" represent one
of the most beautifully ornate and colorful sets of botanicals ever produced.
These prints, published from 1834 -1849, are the premier botanical lithographs
of the era. Larger and more colorful than most botanicals from this period,
the Paxton prints are thus very desireable Wonderfully detailed and slightly
larger than their counterparts, these prints are a must see for both the
casual observer and collector alike.
Although we show only a small
number of these prints in our online gallery, we have many many more in
stock. Please feel free to inquire.
